Alexis wanted a retro, weathered flyer aesthetic while maintaining modern design principles. To achieve this, I paired narrow serif fonts with a wide Art Deco sans serif and layered the title in blue, red, and yellow with an offset effect for subtle 3D dimension.
For imagery, she provided a stunning photo, which I intentionally concealed to preserve its impact for the show. This added an air of mystery, making the design feel more alluring and enticing, encouraging viewers to attend.
